Our ski resorts call this time of year Shoulder Season - between when all the big stuff happens.
This is my shoulder season. I decompress, I breathe deeply, I watch the color of the clouds change in the sunset and I go into my studio, not to hibernate but to play and see what my muse brings to the art.
