Update on the Intention Board

At the beginning of the school year, my teacher-friend Suzanne put this piece in her classroom.  The plan was to capture the voices of children through verse and art.  The kids in this class come from difficult home situations, English is a second language and education is not a priority.  Through all this and the kindness of their teacher, they are making breakthroughs.  Last week, one student set his intention for the afternoon declaring, "This is going to be hard AND I'm going to do it!." Another student wrote, "Everyday, see the beauty in others and let them know you see it."
Good teachers make a difference.
